The clinic was founded 25 years ago by Dr. Dmitrij Skopintsev – a neurologist, a doctor of family medicine, Ayurvedic physician, a full member of the faculty council of Debrecen Medical University (Hungary).

Unique character of CALENDULA therapeutic programs is based on the individual treatment approach and selection of procedures necessary to identify the cause and cure the disease. The therapy aims to restore the body's internal reserves.

The heart of "CALENDULA method" is Ayurvedic Panchakarma therapy, aimed at purification and renewal of the body at the cellular level. To get maximum result, it is complemented with other effective physical therapies, as well as herbal remedies. During 25 years the clinic staff achieved special success in the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, metabolic diseases, and diabetes type 2.

CALENDULA has its own phyto laboratory where preparations are made according to the recipes of Ayurveda, traditional Chinese medicine, and Avicenna from more than 2,500 medicinal herbs and minerals.

The clinic has two medical buildings. The first building, where, in fact, the history of CALENDULA began, was renovated in 2016. The second building was built under advanced geothermal technology and put into operation in February 2015. Room supply of the clinic is categorized as hotel 4*.
